The highly anticipated scares-tacular journey is making a comeback!

From September 7 to November 3, 2024, get ready for a heart-pounding adventure as Universal Beijing Resort's autumn seasonal event Scares @ Universal returns with more thrilling upgrades than ever! Continually to be crafted with film-quality production, Scares @ Universal builds up an immersive blockbuster world that covers both day to night.

Special daytime events including Minion Monsters Meet & Greet will be offered every day of the week, and nighttime experiences and haunted mazes will descend from Thursdays to the following Mondays (with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and October 3rd blocked out).

The park will be open until 22:00 for the special nighttime offerings.

The park has been transformed with a fresh wave of thematic decorations, headlined by Jack the Clown's Carn-Evil as the key theme for the 2024 Scares @ Universal, amplifying the carnival atmosphere to new heights. Scare zones are now back with new activities.

🔴Jack’s Circus: Enter Universal Studio’s classic IP - Jack’s Circus. Experience the revival of the iconic Universal Studio’s character with 20 years of popularity, Jack the Clown, as he brings Jack’s Circus performance to Universal Beijing Resort for the first time. Jack's Circus introduces two Universal Studio’s original characters, Jack the Clown and Chance, who will appear as the Carn-Evil Masters at Scares @ Universal for the first time, inviting you to join a unique frenzy gala. This blend of laughter and screams will immerse guests in an adventure where they explore both the front and backstage of the circus. Discover mysteries, meet an array of freaky characters, battle wits with the Carn-Evil Masters, and join in performing a thrilling circus blockbuster and on-stage bizarre stories that get your heart pounding.

🔴House NO. 81: Step into the sound stage—House NO. 81. When entering the film set, guests take on the main character’s thrilling role. Guests will also explore hidden mysteries and heart-pounding suspense in this immersive journey. Venture into House NO. 81 and navigate the unprecedented film set, stepping into the shoes of the protagonist and starting an immersive thriller adventure.

🔴Freaky Farm: Enjoy the Freaky Farm which received high praise and phenomenal screams last year and explore the mysteries. Pumpkin Demon, the original character from Universal Beijing Resort, will return to his "domain" and invite you to explore and venture deep into the farm, where the unusual prevails.

🔴Jack the Clown's Carn-Evil: Dozens of scary clowns will invite you to join the frenzied party on Hollywood Boulevard. Two Carn-Evil masters - Jack the Clown & Chance are waiting for guests on Hollywood Boulevard to ratchet up the thrills. Prepare to be dazzled by their presence as they kick off a gala of unparalleled frenzy. On the performers platforms in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, acrobatics will bring limited-time exhilarating performance.

🔴Pumpkin Demon's Entourage: Two personalities in one body, the extremely popular "Scares" character, Emo Tu, will also make a thrilling return, offering exclusive interactive performances that allow visitors to discover the other side of Emo Tu’s cute exterior. Pumpkin Demon brings his entourages back again! What's the secret of the devilishly cute Emo Tu? Do you have enough courage to face them?

The three haunted mazes do not require online reservations or additional tickets this year — simply join the queue for direct entry. Scares @ Universal – Universal Express will be available for all three Haunted Mazes. During Scares @ Universal nighttime event hours, Jack’s Circus and House NO. 81 are open daily from 15:00-22:00 (queue cut), and the opening time of the Freaky Farm is from evening to nighttime.

Guests are encouraged to plan their visit in advance to maximize the experience. In addition, an array of Scares @ Universal ticket products, including Scares@Universal Universal Express will be available for purchase from August 26.
