Halloween Horror Nights 2012 Permits and Location Details   The permits have been filed and details about Halloween Horror Nights 2012 are emerging. It looks like we will indeed return to Universal Studios for HHN 22! The locations in the permits also indicate that this will not be a "2 Park" year as has been speculated. Those hoping for a HHN trip through IOA will need to keep those hopes alive for the future.   Below you will find a map of the locations detailed in the permits. You will not see SS23 or The Parade Building on the map because they are not listed in the permits. There are 7 permits at this time. This does not indicate "just" 7 mazes because some venues can hold more than one maze. Halloween Horror Nights 2012 Potential Event Dates??   A UK Travel site is selling Frequent Fear Passes for HHN 2012. The event dates are listed on the FloridaTix website as follows:   "Purchase a FREQUENT FEAR PASS and experience Halloween Horror Nights® at Universal Orlando® Resort as many nights as you dare!   The Frequent Fear Pass entitles one (1) guest admission to HHN for the following 2012 Event Dates: September 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30 & October 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31."   If this information is accurate, the HHN 22 calendar should look like this....     Please keep in mind that this is not an official calendar. This should be considered speculation until the official dates are released.   The "teaser website" and tickets went on sale for HHN 2011 on June 28, 2011. We'll know soon enough if this "calendar" and the rumor of a Walking Dead Prison maze are accurate! Stay tuned and we'll update you once we can confirm these details!

First HHN 2012 Related Permit Clue??

The City of Orlando has a 2012 permit review for Soundstage 23 on file. The code indicates that the permit was scanned for review.

It is too early to mean much of anything. SS23 could be used regardless of which park/parks house Halloween Horror Nights 22. It is almost a sure bet that SS23 will be used. SS23 housed The Thing in 23A and Nightengales: Blood Prey in 23-B for HHN 2011.

The Master Number looks to be related to a building permit from 2009. This could simply be a scan of an old document that has no impact at all on HHN 22. It also might be preliminary work related to HHN 22. Any HHN news is good news in our book!
